ZAWAF UiTM Immediate COVID-19 Financial Support Model are developed to provide immediate assistance to UiTM staffs and students who are in need as a result of sudden implementation of the Movement Control Order (MCO) on 18 March 2020. This model design as a solution to the conventional face-to-face method of aid distribution which are time consuming and full of bureaucracy to some extent.

Poverty and hunger are two major global concerns and United Nations in the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Goal 1 and 2 outlined that by 2030, extreme poverty should be eradicated globally.
