The UiTM Portal provides accessibility for the Disabled / Disability Access. This service is for the disabled, among others for the Colour Blind and the Senior Citizens.

Visually Impaired - For Blind Users

1. Before you can use this component you have to install MS Speech API. If you use Windows2000, most likely, your system already has the necessary components.

2. You also need at least one Speech engine installed. Speech engine is a "voice" that can be male or female, and can speak English or French or any other language.

Visually Impaired - For Colour Blind Users

For the colour blind users, there are several colour choices provided on the top space of all UiTM web pages. Users can choose any colour from the colour options given and the template colour will change immediately.


Senior Citizen

For the Senior Citizens, the UiTM Portal provides various text size option facilities. The text size option is displayed on the top right of all UiTM Portal web pages. Users have the choice to increase or decrease the font size in the text.
