While conventional textiles present consistent growth in emerging economies, textiles are a prime candidate for medical, sports, aerospace, automotive and geotextiles applications. With these changes, the
Textile Institute World Conference 2012 will specifically focus on developing methodology for connecting research and innovation with emphasis on establishing enterprising spirits among its members and the textile community in general. The conference was held in many different parts of the world and for 2012, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) has been selected as organizer. The Faculty of Applied Sciences, Universiti Teknologi MARA, Malaysia is collaborating with The Textile Institute, UK in organizing The 88th Textile Institute World Conference to be held from
15 to 17 May 2012 in the city of
Shah Alam, Malaysia. The 88th Textile Institute World Conference 2012 (TIWC 2012) is a platform that gathers researchers, academics and the industries related to the areas of textiles, apparel and footwear.
