World Information Architecture Day 2012 (WIAD 2012) will be held simultaneously in 14 locations from 13 countries on the 11th February 2012, featuring a single day presentations on topics for the theme “Designing Structures for Understanding” launched by The Information Architecture Institute, USA.

The 13 countries hosting the events are Canada, Brazil, USA, India, Malaysia, Italy, Panama, Romania, France, Australia, Sweeden, South Africa and Japan.

The local event in Malaysia is jointly organized by the Faculty of Computer and Mathematical Sciences, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Malaysia, MIMOS Berhad, Malaysia and The Information Architecture Institute, USA.

On behalf of the Organizing Committee we are glad to invite you to take part in the ICIEB 2012 to present your research findings, innovative ideas, latest technologies and up-to-date methodologies in the field of Islamic banking and finance, economics, business and any other interdisciplinary research relevant to Islamic economics and business. This conference is jointly organized by Universiti Teknologi MARA Johor and Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Indonesia, Depok Jakarta. This conference will be held at the A’ Famosa Resort Hotel, Melaka, Malaysia.

The general aim of the conference is to promote international collaboration in research in Islamic economics and business as well as interdisciplinary fields.

The developments of textile materials, equipment and processes have extensively impacted the textile industry worldwide. While conventional textiles present consistent growth in emerging economies, textiles are a prime candidate for medical, sports, aerospace, automotive and geotextiles applications.  With these changes, the Textile Institute World Conference 2012 will specifically focus on developing methodology for connecting research and innovation with emphasis on establishing enterprising spirits among its members and the textile community in general. The conference was held in many different parts of the world and for 2012, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) has been selected as organizer. The Faculty of Applied Sciences, Universiti Teknologi MARA, Malaysia is collaborating with The Textile Institute, UK in organizing The 88th Textile Institute World Conference to be held from 15 to 17 May 2012 in the city of Shah Alam, Malaysia. The 88th Textile Institute World Conference 2012 (TIWC 2012) is a platform that gathers researchers, academics and the industries related to the areas of textiles, apparel and footwear.
