SIFE UiTM is back!

PWTC 13th July,2010 - After losing the crown last year and settled for first runner up position, the Students In Free Enterprise (SIFE) team from Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) came back stronger than ever. Previously, SIFE UiTM have won seven out of nine times and this year SIFE UiTM continue the dominance by taking back the crown as the SIFE Malaysia National Champion. Under the guidance of two new faculty advisors, En. Mohammed Hardy Loh and Pn. Noor Faizah, SIFE UiTM presented two communities outreach projects, Taman Negara Pahang and Mizo Mang Tha. In the first project, their mission was to improve the standard of living of the community in Kampung Kuala Tahan by revitalizing the local eco-tourism industry. As for Mizo Mang Tha, SIFE UiTM created a linkage between Chin refugees and the local businesses in Kuala Lumpur to create a more sustainable business venture. With these two projects in hand, SIFE UiTM will be representing Malaysia in SIFE World Cup, in Los Angeles October this year.
