Centre of Foundation Studies (CFS) or also known as Pusat Asasi UiTM offers full time preparatory Pre Degree programmes for secondary school leavers who achieved excellent results in SPM examination.  Students are selected and fully sponsored by Ministry of Higher Education.  Currently four streams of studies are being offered, namely Science (Asasi Sains), Engineering (Asasi Kejuruteraan), TESL (Asasi TESL) and Law (Asasi Undang-undang). Upon successful completion of this programme, students will be able to pursue degree programmes in any Malaysian public universities. The duration of these programmes is spread over two semesters to ensure students possess the necessary skills, knowledge, values and competencies to undertake the respective degree programmes of their choice.  The courses are conducted via lectures, tutorials and practical laboratory works. Assessment for the courses includes tests, quizzes, assignments and examinations.
